Living the Dream

Before anything – Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Inc. has passed on. A brilliant, inspiring man, that’s changed the face of technology and world in so many different ways. One of the brightest lights of the century extinguished. May he rest in peace.

====================================================

Okay, so I’ve changed the tagline of the blog to “Living the dream”, from the cheeky play on the default value I had when I set this up.

I’ve not made a post in a while, or really any at all to be honest, so I thought now would be a good time to get on it & update this with a new mission statement as it were, and some interesting articles, as well as a progress report.

How very business like.

MISSION STATEMENT

Prior to this the blog were sort of lurking around in a post setup-by not really ready to go sort of phase. Right now i’m changing things & moving into a more active direction. First up, there’ll be more articles. About 2 a week seems reasonable for now.

Secondly, there’ll be a clear focus. This is the big change, conceptually naturally, as opposed to some big flashing banner you can click on. We’ll be having none of that, and you’ll probably see nothing new on the blog, besides the new articles.

These articles will however be full of this new focus, and this focus will centre around one concept, and really the biggest, best concept I could think of. Not to mention the concept that over arcs my whole life really.

Boom. Living the dream.

What does this consist of?

1. Making money. Let’s be honest you can’t really get by in todays world without it, and acquiring it will be a big focus. We’ll be looking at traditional ways to acquire it, as well as more out of the box approaches, including of course, Internet Marketing.

2. Health – This is another big thing that’s always on my mind, and something i’m always working towards improving. So that’ll take a big part of the blog, i’ll talk about how my progress is going, what i’m doing, and why i’m doing it, and different things i’m looking into, as well some cool recipes. Generally, fast, healthy meals that taste good, as that’s what i’m usually going for.

3. Relationships, love & Girls. Third on the list, but probably one of the most fun and important. Social dynamics have always interested me, but mostly it’s just going to be a run down of my adventures and my thoughts on the subject. Hopefully get some excellent video’s and pictures up.

and last but not least 4.

The general theme of self improvement and fulfilment, that is living the dream.

Always be pushing it.

So that’s it for the mission statement, let’s have a look at what’s going on right now.

Business, Work & Adventures.

I’ve moved into the arena of offline marketing. Taking what I know and going offline has been interesting to say the least. The enticing side is you hear all the stories of people making hundred or even thousands in a day, selling online services offline. Websites, SEO, Social media marketing etc.

However, you never hear about the background stuff.

I’ve setup a basic essentially draft website for people to check out at Zulfus.com, so if a business owner asks, I have something to show, however it’s not nearly optimised for selling just yet.

Coming from online, there’s a lot of differences, i’ve had to setup a business bank account, write a business plan, hold meetings and make cold calls, and a whole load of other things you don’t have to do online.

How’s it going? Pretty good right now. I’ve made my first sale & my first invoice was paid earlier today. Which is nice. A round £100 for some link building to a couple of sites. He got an excellent deal compared to what I plan to charge, and figured I’d do some high value deals to get the ball rolling.

For those who don’t know me in real life, I also work in a bar and rent a house with one of my mates whilst studying an open uni degree, so those take up alot of my time as well.

I’m also just getting into a Multi Level Marketing Scheme which looks promising that i’ll update about later.

So for now that’s it. Hopefully you’ve got a decent overview of where i’m at, and what’ll be coming in the days moving forward.

So until next time , take it easy, and keep living the dream!

Making money with Fiverr

Hey guys, been playing with my old friend Fiverr.com again. In the past i’ve used Fiverr to make a considerable amount of cash, in the range of $1.1k.

And although it’s certainly not a full time income, it’s definitely a viable platform to make a bit of cash on the side for rent/insurance/petrol/food whatever.

Now previously I used to offer my services as a writer/web developer on small projects for $5/pop, which quickly turned into $4 after the commission that Fiverr takes.

As you can see that’s not a very good hourly rate at all, not unless you can do multiple jobs per hour and do them quickly.

Previously my jobs could theoretically take 20 mins, however in practice they between, checking my email, going on facebook, they were definitely taking me over an hour each. So I was forced to develop a new method.

I’m calling Fast Fiverr Profits.

Now with this method i’m going for numbers, and i’m going for speed. I want multiple quick, instant if possible gigs, that I can sell and deliver with no more than a couple of clicks.

For this i’m offering things such as Headline Writing, Guide to XXX which will be a PDF i’ve written in advance and can sell over and over again.

Though essentially i’m just throwing stuff out there.

Since Fiverr allows you to list as many gigs as you want, I figured it’d be a good idea to maximise on this feature by literally listing as many gigs as I can think of, literally every day. I’m trying to squeeze 10 minutes each day to update fiverr with a new gig & see if it sticks.

With this strategy i’m hoping through sheer number of gigs, some will hit the spot & turn into profitable earners.

And coupled with the instant delivery,  should effectively be autopilot income, with little to no maintenance required.

This is the state of affairs at the moment, i’ve already started & got a few gigs up over the last few days. I’ll keep you guys posted & let you know how it goes.

Plenty more projects in the works & plenty more tips/guides/advice/reports coming your way so watch this space. I’m literally going to fill it.

Wishing you guys mutual success. To rocking it.

Peace out.
